When you want to make great tasting rice from home, there is one piece of advice I have for you, buy a Zojirushi rice cooker. these machines are, in my experience, the best Japanese rice cookers you can get. I am on to my third Zojirushi machine. Now this may sound bad in some respects. why do I keep buying new appliances? do the break down? What is going on?

Basically, I have a consumer addiction and love to have the latest products. I was given my first Zojirushi rice cooker and at that stage did not realize how good it was. So then I went out and bought a new larger 5.5 cup machine thinking that bigger meant better. However after using that for a few years I discovered that a smaller 3 cup machine, like the one I first received and then gave away, was actually what I needed. So I have just recently purchased a brand new 3 cup Zojirushi rice cooker. I made my first batch of plain white rice this morning and was very impressed. it has to be said that smaller capacity machines do a better job when cooking very small quantities, e.g. 1 or 1/2 a cup of rice.

To be honest, perhaps it is that I got a higher quality model than I have had before. This is the first Induction Heating Zojirushi rice cooker that I have bought. Rice has been a major part of my diet for nearly ten years. This new rice cooker that I have will ensure that I am able to save money by eating out less and preparing more of my own food. it also has a GABA brown rice which is something I have never had before.

If you want to experience eating great rice. Then perhaps you should pay a bit extra and buy a Zojirushi rice cooker.
