Lot of cookers which make white rice make brown rice as well. but please check the specifications and do enough research before you decide on a rice cooker. Zojirushi, Sanyo, Aroma and Tiger are some brands that offer brown rice cookers. Brown rice is healthy and is said to reduce the risk of major diseases like diabetes and heart disease.
Sanyo ECJ-HC55S 51/2 cup rice cooker is a nice one to have. it can cook brown rice very well. it has got a steam collector and all the steam escapes through while cooking. You have to be careful with steam collector as it emits very hot gas and it might burn your hands. it has two pans, one for cooking rice and the other for steaming tofu. it also can be used to cook oatmeal. it has got a non-sticking pot and a non-sticking pot helps a lot. Many people does not like the fact of rice being struck to the bottom or sides of the rice cooker. it also has got a warming function that will keep the rice warm to serve even after the rice is well cooked.
Zojirushi NS-TGC 10 is a nice rice cooker that can be used to cook brown rice. it is micom rice cooker that can be used to cook rice as well as bake cakes. Baking cakes is a nice feature to have in your rice cooker. also it has got a super exterior that always cold and keeps your hand safe.
