These tiles on my kitchen wall are brown and flowery and generally just hideous! Can I paint over them, and if not how I can I change them? I'm on a budget
thanks! x

I have 30 yo formica counter tops that curves and roll up the kitchen wall (making the back splash) that is cracking in places. I really can't afford to have new counter-tops installed and have seen people using self sticking vinyl tiles to create new back splashes and didn't know if the same tiles can be used to redo the counter-tops as well.
Can self-adhesive kitchen tiles be used to refurish a kitchen counter?

We live in a 100 year old house (and the kitchen cabinets look it). we are planning on selling in a few months and want to update the kitchen. Should we replace the cabinets or just the doors? BTW it's a small kitchen - it's an L shape 5 feet x 6 feet.
