2nd Annual Summit Wine & Food Festival: September 24 – 25   26, 2010

Featuring dozens of the nations top chefs (including Iron Chef Jose Garces) and respected sommeliers (including Doug Frost, Master of Wine and Master Sommelier). the Summit Wine & Food Festival hopes to help make a positive difference in peoples lives through collaboration with its charitable partner, the New Jersey Community Food Bank. Besides providing Festival proceeds net expenses to the Food Bank, trainees in the Food Banks Culinary Training Academy will work side-by-side with skilled chefs and food prep personnel during the Festival. this hands-on opportunity is sure to be an invaluable learning experience leading to a successful career in the culinary arts.

Friday, September 24th

Evening Gala at Grand Summit Hotel, a seated multi-course gourmet dinner with wine pairings. Live exclusive wine- and food-related auction hosted by Assemblyman Jon Bramnick.

Saturday, September 25th

Food demonstrations and wine & spirit tastings during the day at the gorgeous Reeves-Reed Arboretum in Summit. That night, an evening under the stars at the Arboretum for a relaxed walk-around featuring 15 stations serving small dishes prepared by top area chefs and dozens of wines from noted wineries, as well as a silent auction.

Sunday, September 26th

Hosted at the Grand Summit Hotel, witness dozens of cooking demonstrations by top chefs from New Jersey, New York and beyond. Also, book signings, a cheese course, spirits & wine tastings. Topped off late Sunday afternoon with the first ever game bird competition: seven top chefs will compete against each other for the best game bird dish to win the "Best Of" prize!
